Four Core Custom Radiator. The Front End is a Mustang 2 (tube type), with Rack & Pinion Power Steering. Rear End is the Ford Eaton Posi-Traction with 411 Gears. Air-Ride Suspension. She has 4-Wheel Disk Brakes. Dual Exhaust, Fuel Cell, VDO Lighted Gauges with Tachometer, Tilt Column with Grant Spoked Steering Wheel. This is a RARE 1955 Mercedes 220 Sunroof Coupe. There were less than 85 Examples of this Car ever made........Out of those, Only 13 were made with the Factory Sunroof. This Unique Classic is one of them. The Second Owner of this Classic was well known Restorer, Alex Dearborn. The previous owner had this Classic for 26 Years. This Gem has a 6 Cylinder Mercedes with a a 4-Speed Transmission on the Column. It has a Restored Becker "America" station searching Radio. This Classic was previously Owned by the Legendary Mike Ditka when He Coached the Chicago Bears to the Super Bowl Championship! Coach Ditka had this Car Restored in 1983. The Car is Originally from Texas. She has 45,103 Miles on the Odometer. It has the 235 6-Cylinder Engine with a 3-Speed on the Column. Paint and Chrome are excellent.
